Worship
Welcome to Trinity! We invite you to worship with us on Sunday mornings. Whether you attend the traditional service or the contemporary service, you will find that we follow a general order of worship which is experienced in four parts: Gathering, Word, Meal, and Sending.
Worship begins with a Gathering in which we come together in worshipful music to praise God. The proclamation of the Word follows, where scripture is read, and Gospel of Jesus proclaimed. The Meal is the celebration of the Lord's Supper when God's grace is shared with us through bread and wine. Finally, there is a Sending, which includes a song and sending us off into the world to be God's loving presence to others.
You are invited to take communion, even if you are not a Lutheran or a member of this congregation. Christ is the host, and he invites us all to come and eat.
Children are an important part of Trinity and are always welcome in worship! Kids are invited to their own time of Biblical learning during the contemporary. service. Nursery care is available the contemporary service.
Come and worship. All are invited!

Who We Are |
We are a Christian community which worships the Trinity (God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit). We believe that God so loved the world that Jesus was sent to be among us. Jesus entered the world for the sake of a broken humanity and fractured creation. It is in the crucified and risen Jesus that we come to know the love of God and the life to which we have been called.
Lutherans do not have any beliefs that cannot be found among other Christian groups, although we do have our unique emphases. One such emphasis is the centrality of grace (free gift). God’s good gifts are freely given; we do not earn God’s favor. In turn, by the gift of the Spirit, we are sent into the world to be grace for others. |
Our History |
Trinity is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, a church body which is comprised of 4.8 million members and almost 10,500 congregations. We are Christians who trace our roots to the reforming tradition of Martin Luther in the 16th century.
This congregation dates back to 1904 when it was given the original name of the Scandinavian Evangelical Lutheran Free Church of Enumclaw. Services at that time were all held in the Norwegian language. The current building was dedicated in 1947. Whereas the original congregation was primarily limited to one ethnic expression, today Trinity is an inclusive community which strives for diversity. |
